This shows how to connect

HYUNDAI new VERNA / new CLICK steering wheel remote controls to CarPC JoyCon.

Description of connector pins.

L_SIG(-) : Left remote ontrols output. Connect to GND.

LED(+) : LED power of hands free button. Supply 5V.
HORN :

L_SIG(+) : Left remote ontrols output.

ILL(-) : LED power of buttons. Connect to GND.
ILL(+) : LED power of buttons. Supply 5V.
R_SIG(-) : Right remote ontrols output. Connect to GND.
R_SIG(+) : Right remote ontrols output.

Because left and right resistance values are duplicated,
one resistor is needed to avoid duplication.
Connect 6.8k~7.5k ohm resistor between R_SIG(+) and L_SIG(+).

I made connector with 2.54 header pins and hot melt.


I got 5V USB power from CarPC JoyCon and supplied to LED(+) and ILL(+).

When 5V is supplied, the buttons are turned on.
